We've had a couple of changes take place recently, so I'll get straight to the point and announce them.
Someone found an exploit in our Rock, Paper, Scissors game for the Chao, which allowed that person to make ridiculous amounts of Rings. The exploit has been fixed and the system used for the game has now changed; now users can only play 10 times a day per Chao.
It is now impossible to send Rings (money) to other users. The main reasons for this is that sending too much money to other members pretty much ruins the economy and makes Rings useless. Some people also tend to send loads of Rings to new users, rendering it useless for them to even bother saving up, as they start off already rich. Rings are easy to obtain anyway, if you're careful. This affects name changes but is no problem; instead of users sending me Rings, I'll just pick them directly from users' accounts.
Finally, we have made some changes to the Character Application form; namely, the third RP sample can now be custom-made. I urge everyone to take a look at the edited section of the form here. |

Hi everyone!
I've got good and bad news; let's start with the good ones.
A new official Mission RP is now open! An original story by Renegade the Hedgehog adapted to function as a mission-based roleplay allows players to choose their sides and compete. All participants who have put effort into the RP will receive a special reward. Check it out!
Now for the bad news... As some of you may know, I have recently made Project NSI public and gave a possible release date. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances over which I have no control, the project will be delayed for some time. How long exactly? Well, it could be a couple days but it could be more; I assure you that I'm working hard on releasing it as soon as possible. |

After countless months of working and waiting, Project NSI is finally nearing its debut.
Though we had originally intended to only make the project public and available to roleplay in once it was completed, we will instead instore it soon. That way, everyone will be able to enjoy it during summer and while the latter parts are being completed. The first part will hopefully be posted and made available to roleplay in soon.

Hi, there! Omochao here!
Neo South Island is going to be entering changes very soon, dubbed "Project NSI," and we need your help!
Each time you start an adventure with Sonic, you hear a super cool tune representing the current adventure he's on. Sonic Adventure's "Open Your Heart," Sonic Heroes' "Sonic Heroes," Sonic the Hedgehog's "His World" ....Gosh golly! Of course we can't help but think of those thrilling adventures when we hear that music!
As "Project NSI" will be a brand new step in the future of NSI, we wish to mark the occasion by asking one of YOU to compose Neo South Island's very own THEME SONG!!
Please follow these guidelines when creating the tune:
- It must be an original work, not a remix of an existing one.
- No lyrics
- Remember, guitar is cool, but it doesn't have to be the only instrument! Try making something in a different genre of music besides rock, even though such an entry is welcomed.
- Make as many tunes as you like!
Contest rewards
For contributing anything at all, you will be rewarded for your participation with an item that can't be bought or sold at the store, but is super cool...!

- Hearing your song mixed and remixed into "Project NSI"
